Description:

This 75-question self-scoring inventory helps determine the action an individual has taken towards planning his/her career. It can be used in career development briefings, benchmarking, and attitude surveys.

Objectives:

This tool provides a self-report on those areas where users have taken more action than others. It also provides concrete steps, ideas, and exercises to help employees take more responsibility for their careers.

Outcomes:

  • Identifies specific actions that help employees take charge of their careers so that the primary responsibility for development rests with the individual.
  • Promotes a proactive environment by giving individuals a way of measuring their progress in the five crucial areas of career development.

Length of Time to Complete:

30 minutes.

Facilitator's Guide:

A Facilitator's Guide is available to assist in training this tool as a "stand-alone" product, and includes a fully scripted one-to-two hour design.
