Description:
The Deal Me In Cards®, a unique deck
of 52 color-coded sorting cards which can be played in either a solitaire
or rummy format, are complemented by a 42-page Guide filled with real-world
exercises and occupations linked to eight dynamic industries. The
Cards and the Guide (purchased separately) can help identify and analyze
changes in an individual's career. Activities outlined can also be
used for team-building, performance management and interviewing skills.
Objectives:
The card deck can be used to assess an individual's
interests and skills. Twenty-two real-life work situations are highlighted
in the easy-to-follow guide for greater worklife understanding and
practical information.
Outcomes:
- Targets opportunities for employee growth and enrichment by identifying areas of motivation and skill.
- Provides a communication shorthand for managers and employees to discuss their changing needs.
Length of Time to Complete:
The card sort can be done
in 15 minutes in the solitaire format, or 30 minutes in the rummy
format. Time to complete the Guide will vary, depending upon the exercises
selected.
