Love 'Em or Lose 'Em: Building Loyalty and Commitment in the Workplace™ is a flexible and compelling workshop for managers. Using self-assessment tools, action activities and in-class exercises, the program delivers key strategies for keeping and engaging talent in any economic climate. Expanding on the concepts put forward by Beverly Kaye and Sharon Jordan-Evans in their best seller, Love 'Em or Lose 'Em: Getting Good People to Stay (Berrett-Koehler), the workshop helps managers identify retention challenges they face and the reasons employees stay, the costs of replacing their star performers, and strategic plans for dealing with their key employees.

Objectives:

Managers can greatly influence their employees' level of engagement and likelihood of staying. But often these leaders need tools and training to get the job done: this workshop provides both. Managers will draw from 26 practical, cost-effective strategies to create and implement customized action plans. The workshop develops and supports a talent mindset that leads to positive organizational change, where managers grow talent, and culture creates employee and customer satisfaction.
